I have complaints regarding two companies:
1.) Lufthansa
2.) Make my trip India
I want to complain on several fronts so please bare with me throughout this mail.
I had a planned trip to New Delhi,India which was scheduled from 15th July and return on 5th august
to gothenburg.I booked my tickets through make my trip travel site.While I was booking this trip
due to some error my payment was not successful and I got a call from make my trip customer service instantly
to help me with the booking.While booking he suggested several options and by mistake we booked our onwards
flight from 15th June instead of 15th July. As booking was done fro make my trip customer executive I did not see this
booking untill he was finished.Due to some reason I did not find the mistake till later.
As planned I started to Airport on 15th of July and found to my horror that my onward journey was booked for 15 th june.
I called make my trip and lufthansa they said they can not help with this. My first complain is that lufthansa or
make my trip should have informed me about my missed flight on 15th june so that I could have done some re booking.
But I absolutely got no information from them.
Second part started when I was travelling back to sweden gothenburg on 5th of august. I reached delhi airport
to find that Lufthansa has cancelled even my return tickets due to my previous no show.When I contacted make my trip and
lufthansa neither of them helped and started putting blames on each other.
For this part of journey again I was not informed that my ticket is cancelled.
They are not even ready to remburse me for my return ticket which I think is unfair as I was on airport the same day as planned.
This has caused a lot of harasment for me as a consumer as I had to book last minutes flight due to lack of information.
So in conclusion I would like to file complaint against both make my trip and lufthansa as niether of them are helping me and I do
not know whom should i contact for issue resolution.
I have following three complaints in conclusion:
1.) I should have been informed about my missing of flight on Onwards journey which could have helped me rebook the tickets beforehand.
2.) I should have been informed about cancellation of my tickets on return journey for above same reason.
3.) I should atleast be rembursed for my return journey.
Could you please look into this matter.
